Since I messed up my original blog so badly, I had to start a new one. Here's hoping this one makes it!
The Journey On exercise was awesome. I can understand why we would need to listen to this while at home in a quiet corner with no one around. Given enough time, I'm sure I could've fallen asleep. The voice being so monotone and quiet made it easy to relax. I could picture being in a meditative state with my yoga music in the background. I will return to this exercise on more than one occasion I'm sure, as it really made it easy to calm down after a stressful day.
Hello Kim, glad to see you have a new blog up. I had a hard time with the meditation this week. I think it was her voice. I just wasn't able to clear my mind as easily as last week, but, I will try it again. I think that, for me, guided meditation seems to be easier than just meditating on my own. It is sometimes so hard for me to clear my thoughts. Do you have this problem?

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you got the blog situation straighten out. This is not my favorite way of communicating and mine will only be open during the class duration.
Meditation is so helpful to release the stress of our modern day high technical world. Guided imagery is my least favorite, with diaphram breathing being my favorite.
